The hosts and staff were lovely, and the place was quiet. Our room was clean, and most of the food was good, even better than I expected for the Bran area. The mountain view from our room was beautiful. The bathroom is very small, with only a curtain around the shower, and the mattress wasn't comfortable. You also have to order the full lunch or dinner menu, rather than just one dish. Some meals weren't to my taste: the pasta was overcooked from being kept warm for hours, and the soups were a bit bland. Breakfast could improve too, as I don't like being served supermarket salami. Still, for a three-star place, I think they charge fairly for what they offer, and it's a good option in the area.

The food was mediocre, and the parking lot was so crowded that some cars blocked others in. On the plus side, the Bucegi Mountains view is lovely, the staff were polite and very helpful, and the interior decor and general atmosphere suit a mountain lodge nicely.

The staff were helpful, and our room was clean and ready. But the setting was much busier and noisier than we'd hoped for a mountain trip, with two other hotels right beside it. During our stay, some guests partied until 2 AM, which made the experience really unpleasant.

The setting is stunning, and the hotel itself is great, though the old beds weren't very comfortable. The management was the real problem. COVID measures weren't enforced, and people walked around without masks. Every night, loud manele and Romanian folk music played from a speaker in the middle of the dining area. Nobody responded to our complaints. We were sure at first that we'd return, but after all that, we won't.

There’s a wonderful view while you eat, and the food has a great variety, including options for vegetarians. Prices aren't low, but I think it's worth it.
