Casa Cristina

The room was modern and well kept, cleaning was good, and there’s plenty of parking. They also have a washing machine, and dogs stay for free. The accommodation is in a quiet spot away from the main road, and credit to the owners’ son, who handled clients well despite being young. Communication was the main difficulty. Nobody spoke English, only Spanish, so it was hard to discuss anything beyond basics, especially my dog’s needs and behavior since he can be difficult to manage. Luckily, the owner’s mother spoke good Italian. Wi-Fi was weak in my room, so I had to take my laptop to the living room. There weren’t thick curtains to make the room dark, and the pillows were too thick. A pair of thinner ones would have been nice. The owners don’t live at the pensiune, but come by when needed.
