Evianne Boutique Hotel

Everything was just right, from the excellent room and great furniture to the lovely design, cleanliness, and staff. This hotel deserves even more stars. I’d definitely recommend it.

What made the stay feel special was the staff. We booked by phone because I’m not allowed to use other websites since I worked for concurrent. We had a special request other hotels wouldn’t accept, and they quickly found a solution, calling back in 4 min to say it could all be arranged. We stayed for one week, and it was impossible not to feel at home. The room cleaners were always checking whether we needed anything, and at breakfast I enjoyed chatting with a lovely person at reception, then found out she was the manager. The warm welcome and their personalities made it feel like family, as if we’d known them already. I’ll come back just to see them 😜 The rooms are luxurious, with details handled so carefully, and in my view they’re incomparable with what I’ve seen in 5 stars hotels. The hotel deserves more stars. If Evianne Boutique were in another country, or by the sea, it would surely have more. For ratings, the kitchen, view, and location matter too, and the location affects how people appreciate it. Breakfast depends on what you expect. It was a nice, simple cuisine, especially for a foreigner, while locals may find it ordinary but still nice. The comment about coffee confused me. Coffee differs from country to country; they use a common espresso machine and an expensive brand, but taste is personal. I read the reviews and understand everyone has their own opinion, wishes, and experience. I also appreciate each review. Sorry to whoever was woken by birds in the neighbourhood. I enjoyed the sounds of nature, though if you’re stressed or tired even your own breathing can bother you. I’ve travelled in 8 countries just to review, not counting islands. Trust me, it’s a good place from every point of view! ✨✨✨✨✨

The bed felt good, and the room was large enough, but the ceiling on the 3rd floor didn’t meet standards. There’s no elevator. Breakfast was modest but decent, though it seems nowhere in the area serves a fabulous or great one. It’s okay, just not great, and kind of expensive for romanian prices.

The room was unusually clean for a Romanian 3 stars hotel, and slippers were provided. There’s no elevator, which was a significant minus for me with a child and a few bags. At night and again in the morning, a horrible poop-like smell came from the bathroom and stayed in the room even with the bathroom door shut. Breakfast was quite basic, and the bread didn’t look fresh. Besides cereal, jam, butter, and yoghurt, there was mostly omelette, eggs, sausages, two kinds of cheese, and veggies cold curry, plus some cake, water, milk, and a cheap drink (Fanta). Coffee was brought to the table in small cups on request, and I was told only 1 was included in the buffet breakfast.
