Mercure Galati Centrum

We held a three-day conference at Mercure Galati Centrum and came away very happy with the experience. The conference rooms were properly equipped, the catering was excellent, and the team handled a large group, different meal arrangements across several days, and multiple last-minute changes efficiently and cheerfully. Andreea and her colleagues were professional, warm, and dedicated from our first contact through the event itself. Communication was clear, responsive, and focused on finding solutions. They made the planning and delivery smooth and enjoyable, and nothing felt like too much trouble. It’s rare to find that level of professionalism alongside such genuine hospitality. We’d gladly work with this team again and recommend Mercure Galati Centrum to organisations planning a professional event in Galați.

A charming place to discover in Galati, with a lovely atmosphere and wonderful people!

The team at Mercure Galati are professional and attentive, and the service has kept getting better over the years. That improvement makes me feel the hotel listens to feedback, and it’s part of why coming back feels like returning somewhere familiar. I feel welcomed and looked after there. Its central location is useful for work commitments and makes a good base for exploring the city. The Danube promenade is nearby for a walk, and the rooms are comfortable and well appointed. I’ve also really enjoyed the restaurant dishes. Those qualities make it a strong option for both business and leisure visits to Galati.

I’ve stayed here several times and plan to return. The staff are attentive and friendly, and the rooms are roomy and comfortable. It’s right in the centre, with cafes and restaurants close by, and Carrefour is about a five-minute walk away. Highly recommend.
