A friendly, really nice place.

Getting there can be tricky without your own car or a rented bus, since the nearest train station is a few kilometers from the Center. You could arrange taxis for people arriving by train from nearby Szászváros (Orastie), but watch out: drivers may take advantage if you don't know the area, so agree on the fare first. There’s plenty to see around here, including Algyógyfürdő, Vajdahunyad Castle, Déva Castle, Piski Arboretum, Algyógyi Roman Bath, and the waterfall. Prices are more than reasonable. I’ve been coming back to the Youth Center for years and have always been pleased with the accommodation, food, service, place, and programs. The locals are very hospitable and do their best to make groups feel welcome. It works well for class trips, team-building training, or just relaxing.

There’s lots to explore nearby. The setting is calm and peaceful, with a lovely big garden, a playground, and chances to play sports.

A good choice for student groups, with clean, modern accommodation, filling meals, and friendly staff. The two churches in the garden are an added attraction.
