We went in June, which I hear is one of the best times to visit, and the lake and surrounding area were nearly empty. There are eight rooms on the property, all with their own bathrooms, and some have balconies. We booked six rooms and were very happy with the price and location. Our group included three households, and the shared kitchen, dining room, and living room gave us plenty of space to be together at meals. The kitchen was bigger and easier to use than we expected, with a large fridge and an espresso machine. The beds were comfortable, and the place was clean and well maintained. There was hot water most of the time. The host was very responsive to requests and feedback.

The villa's access road is a gravel pit, and the owner doesn't speak English, I think only Hungarian. Still, it's worth going. The hotel is nice and the rooms are good. There's no breakfast, but you can find something to eat in town.

The morning views are amazing, and the Villa is about a 15-minute walk from town. It's a great choice for a short or longer stay in lacu rosu, or gyilko-tó in hungarian. It helps to know some Hungarian, since most of the people who live here are Hungarian. Definitely worth staying here instead of at the big hotels.
