The staff were super friendly, and everything was sparkling clean. The location is excellent if you’re traveling to Romania from the southern Balkans.

The restaurant served good food at reasonable prices, and the room was very clean with no bad smells. The shower, air conditioning, elevator, and bed were all in good condition, and the room didn’t feel as dated as I’d expected from the pictures and reviews. It was better than I expected. The one downside was that they had no indoor storage for my bike, so I had to lock it outside.

I spent two weeks here and felt well looked after. The staff were friendly and helpful, the bed was super comfortable, and breakfast was incredibly good. The restaurant food was high quality and good value, so I really recommend trying it. It felt like a 4-star hotel at a 3-star price. A few things I figured out while staying here: to turn on the TV, press a channel button on the remote instead of the power button. In my room, the bathroom shaver socket wasn’t actually a plug, so I couldn’t plug anything into it. And if there hasn’t been rain for a while and you’re having air quality problems, pour a little water into the floor drain in the middle of the bathroom so the trap doesn’t dry out.

Parking right in front was convenient. We picked this hotel for a break before the next day’s drive because it looked better and seemed easier to park at than the other place in town. There weren’t many options, but the prices were REALLY high for the quality of the rooms. Our restaurant order took ages, and the food wasn’t good quality. We ordered pizzas, but the crust wasn’t pizza crust at all. The rooms felt cheap, the AC didn’t work, and the bathrooms were small, with some kind of plastic shower. Then, in the morning, the receptionist wouldn’t let us pay by credit card and wanted to charge us again for the meal from the night before. We could only pay cash because that’s what the bill said. I’ve never seen a hotel decide how you have to pay and refuse a credit card. The receptionist was really unpleasant and kept blowing with annoyance. This was an unpleasant stop, and I don’t recommend it at all.
