The elevator is a welcome feature, and the food improved with each day. It started out average, though Romanian guests may find the selection perfectly familiar. The hotel has a rustic, family feel that I think people from Romania will appreciate, while visitors from big cities and more expensive areas may notice a few drawbacks. Sound travels easily through the thin walls and doors, so you can hear neighbors and lobby noise, even snoring. There’s no latch to stop housekeeping from coming in. The Wi-Fi was disappointing. I work in IT, and the setup seems like it could be improved: there’s no password or device isolation, and the extenders and multiple routers provide patchy coverage. I’d suggest an Omada or Unifi system with a controller, several wired Access Points (APs), a POE Network Switch, and one router. The smart TVs should also use Ethernet, since ours lost Wi-Fi after two days. Each room could have its own SSID and each smart TV its own VLAN. That would still let guests use Chromecast without casting to TVs in other rooms. As it is, that’s only prevented by other guests being considerate.

The views and location make this a lovely spot for a day out or an overnight stay, and the service was lovely. My main course was a little bland and lacked character, maybe it was just an off day, or maybe I'm picky. The dessert, though, was huge and delicious. Definitely recommend.

The restaurant is nicely designed and serves good food. It's very well located, right next to Voronet monastery.

The staff were helpful and nice, and everything about their service felt professional. The food was healthy and good, too. Our room was cozy, and they brought in a bed for our son within minutes. There's Wi-Fi and parking. The access road may look rough and difficult, but the place is worth it. Five stars from me. I recommend it to everyone and will definitely come back.
