It was hot in the room during summer, and mosquitoes got in. With the window open, traffic on the road out front was noisy, and the train passes right behind the house. We also didn’t get the room we’d reserved. The lady didn’t feel very welcoming, and seemed more focused on payment than on making sure guests had good conditions.

The common room is spacious enough for around 30 people, and there’s a large kitchen. Our group of 12 stayed for two nights and found both the newer and older buildings fine. The pension is a bit far from the ski slope, but handy for restaurants and shops in town.

The receptionist, who may have been the owner, was very helpful and spoke English. The pension is near the center, with a clean, roomy bathroom.
