Motel Bucium

Good value, with affordable prices and quality above average. The location is excellent too.

The food is outstanding. We love coming back for a date night, and we got so many compliments about it at our wedding gathering. The restaurant, spa, and service are all great, and the rooms are reasonably priced. My favourite restaurant in Romania by far! We had our wedding here in 2022 and it was a blast. The hotel and rooms were wonderful, and the view, oh my god. We had the reception on the second floor, overlooking the whole city. It was simply magical. The spa is very nice too. We come here instead of going to a pool somewhere, and some of our friends have done the same ever since our wedding.

The restaurant was great, with excellent à la carte food, and the reception staff were very friendly. The hotel itself is lovely and the surroundings are great. The saunas and pool have no rules and aren't supervised. I saw glasses break twice while I was there, and glass in the pool is a real concern. There are no towel or bathrobe hangers anywhere in the facility. Young people occupied the jacuzzi, and smoking was allowed there. It's a really nice facility with potential.

We were given no locker room key, and there was no water coming through in the toilet or shower. The toilet was full, with a mess around the sink and across the floor. There weren't any towels, and nobody had warned us they might be unavailable. I didn't expect such a bad experience from this well-known spa in Iasi. I can't recommend it.
