Shamrock Inn

The balcony was a nice touch, and the room was small but clean and reasonably priced. This is a small guesthouse outside the city in a peri-urban area, right by the road, handy enough for a night when you're tired. But the trucks pass about 20 meters from the window through the night, so it gets noisy. The two women at reception I dealt with seemed to have little enthusiasm for interacting with guests, as if they were doing the job because nothing better was available. The reception staff's attitude could use a lot of improvement.

The mattress was the issue for me. The bed itself was comfortable, but I got really sweaty sleeping on it. Still, for a three-star place there's free parking and Wi-Fi, clean rooms, and a decent price. I'd recommend it for a night's sleep if you're not expecting much.

The rooms are clean and decent, though nothing fancy, and the food was okay. A pleasant enough spot to stay near Iasi for a day or two.

It's reasonably priced and fine overall, though being so close to the street makes it a little noisy.
