The hosts were pleasant and helpful, and the kitchen had everything we needed. We used the excellent barbecue area several times, and also enjoyed the outdoor hot tub, which had salty water at around 40 degrees. It's a simple guest house with basic facilities, but the bed was comfortable and outside noise didn't bother me. There is parking and a play area both inside and out. All in all, a good experience.

Casa Maria is a good base for trips to the Red Lake, Bicaz Gorge, Sugau Cave, and SkiGhimes. We booked two rooms and two bathrooms for five people. The hosts were responsive and helpful. Both rooms were clean; one bathroom was larger, with a shower cabin, sink, and toilet, while the other had a sink and toilet. There's a lot to do in the yard: a hot tub, sauna, fireplace, game room with ping-pong, climbing wall, foosball and air-hockey table, plus a football field. There are also two barbecue grills and a fully equipped kitchen, so you don't need to bring silverware. Internet is available, along with countless other amenities. Let the hosts know a day ahead if you'd like to book the sauna or hot tub. Sauna was included in our accommodation price, though we didn't use it. We reserved the hot tub for two days in a row, at 20ron/person. The property accepts vacation vouchers, but booking with them has to go through the TravelMinit Agency.

There are forest and hiking spots close by, and kids have activities to enjoy. The place is lovely and spacious, with all the utilities you need for a stay, including a dishwasher.
