Casa Moldovan

That lush green garden is my favourite part, with its sauna, outdoor hot tub, and benches where you can sit in sun or shade. The place is right by the forest, with wonderfully clean air that stays cool even in the hottest part of summer, and plenty of mountain trails to explore. We keep coming back to this serene, cozy place, and this was our seventh year in a row. We love spending time with friends here, listening to music, playing games, sharing stories by the barbecue, and enjoying the beautiful surroundings. Nature lovers won't get bored. The place sleeps up to 14, though we always had more friends join us each evening. The rooms vary in size and may or may not have bathrooms. They're clean, and the prices are fair. I just wish there were more double beds. The bathrooms are clean too, and there's a fully functional kitchen both inside and outside. The hosts are friendly, respectful, and keen to help and offer good service. They've even given us little gifts and taken us paragliding, which was amazing. The location also works well for remote work in the garden, though it feels like a vacation. Wifi is strongest on the ground and first floors, and weaker in the attic rooms. I've visited many lovely places around the world, but this is where I found true Romanian values. Thank you for all your efforts, Casa Moldovan!

I booked a week but chose to leave after just two nights. The setting is peaceful, with fresh air and beautiful scenery, though it was an interesting experience overall. The host has an unusual way of being unfriendly. Don't be surprised if he tells you to fetch your own barbecue wood or asks you not to play music too loudly. He gets into arguments easily, so he's not someone I'd want to have a discussion with. The rooms are rustic and don't block sound well. Bring your own towel in case he forgets to leave one, which could save time and effort. Wifi is weak, so keep your mobile data on if you don't need to work.

The host made the stay uncomfortable for me. He was imposing, rude, and unfriendly, and criticized guests about what they should and shouldn't do. The bedrooms were very small, and the bathroom was cramped and uncomfortable. There wasn't even a frying pan. The conditions were below standard, and overall it was a bad experience.

It's very peaceful here and close to the train station. I had a great time surrounded by forest, with stars overhead at night. Looking forward to visiting again. Thank you! :)
