Pensiunea La Codru

We spent two days here in September at a fair price. The building is new, the rooms and bathrooms are clean, and the shared kitchen has all the necessary equipment. Jurilovca itself isn’t really a place to visit, but Gura Portiței and the remains of the fortress on the cliff are must-sees.

We felt at home at Pensiunea La Codru and enjoyed every day there. The owners were respectful and discreet, while still being available if we needed anything. Our room was spacious, well kept, and clean, with working AC and a bathroom stocked with what we needed. There’s parking in the yard, plus a fully equipped kitchen and dining space indoors and on the terrace. The yard is roomy and private, a nice spot to unwind. The place is pet-friendly, which made it easy to bring our pet along, and it’s close to the port, restaurants, and shops. We’d definitely return and recommend it to anyone looking for comfortable pet-friendly accommodation in Jurilovca.

We came across this lovely place by chance, and it turned out to be the best quality for the price. The hosts are kind and hospitable, and the rooms are clean. My favorite part was the green space with a sunbed and hammock, where we relaxed in the evenings. We’ll be back next year for sure.

You can unwind in the yard on a sun lounger, either in the sun or under the willows. It’s a quiet village setting, with birds chirping, roosters crowing, hens clucking, and plenty of silence. The kitchen is equipped, there’s a barbecue area, and the rooms have AC. The hosts are very welcoming and shared information about places to visit.
