The house is really nice, with a beautiful view. There were quite a few little annoyances, though: one stair was broken, the bath had weak water pressure, and the toilet seat was broken. There’s no washing machine, air conditioning, or dishwasher.

Thanks for the welcome. It’s a quiet, beautiful spot with lovely scenery, close to the red lake. The rooms worked fine for us, though the style is minimalist.

The area is gorgeous and the view is lovely, but I wouldn’t stay in this so-called villa again, even for free. The house was very dirty and neglected, with creaky floors, dishes left in the sink, and cockroaches, ants, spiders, and flies. There was hardly any water pressure in the upstairs bathroom, and the toilet paper had been left by other guests. The fridge was filthy and leaking water from the freezer, apparently because it had only been plugged in ten minutes before we arrived. Downstairs, the rooms had a lot of mold and damp, cockroaches, and the smell that comes with it. Plenty of other little details were disappointing too. It’s a shame, because the area is beautiful, but this isn’t a place I’d stay. It’s also quite expensive for what it offers. I don’t recommend it.

The setting is beautiful, with valleys and mountains right nearby, and the view is a dream. The cottage is close to the Red Lake and gives quick access to the surrounding trails. The kitchen is properly equipped, and there’s a barbecue on site. The woman in charge of the accommodation was very kind and gave us all the information we asked for. We stayed in June, and at night we lit a fire and switched on the central heating, using the wood at the location. We paid 1700 RON for two days over the weekend. The cottage needs some refreshing for the accommodation to be decent: there was no hot water pressure in the two attic rooms, so showering wasn’t possible. The first-floor and attic floors creaked terribly, so every step could be heard. The attic beds creaked with every movement and woke us with even the smallest gesture. The first-floor windows were opaque and took away much of the landscape’s beauty. The doors took considerable effort to close and made noise when they shut. With the needed improvements, it could live up to the word “dream.”
