The kitchen has everything you could need, almost like a restaurant kitchen, and the rooms are really spacious. From the first floor you can already see the beach, with an even better view upstairs. This was our second visit, and once again the place was clean. Whenever we came back, the sheets had been changed, and there were fresh towels and toiletries.

The owners made for two very different experiences. The woman was warm and welcoming when she encouraged us to book, but on arrival her husband seemed annoyed that our group of seven wanted to chat and play board games. At 1:00 he came out, made a fuss, and sent us to bed because he said we were disturbing the three tourists there. This was off-season, when there were hardly any tourists. He said he had money and didn't need guests celebrating New Year's Eve, and that he only wanted stars on booking, while still trying to run a tourism business. It felt like being drawn in with lovely lies. You'd have to be a pensioner to be welcome here. I don't recommend it. The guesthouse itself is dated and worn, with an unpleasant smell and stuffy air. It feels like maximum profit with no investment. The kitchen has professional utensils, but it's neglected: the deep fryer looked like it had oil stuck to it for two years. Some amateurs.

The room was just like the photos, with two large beds, a huge fridge, and a lovely balcony. It was spacious and very clean, and the villa is close to the beach. Our host was friendly and left us in peace. The downside is that food options near the beach are limited, and the few places around were a bit expensive. I'd happily stay again. I've read plenty of negative comments, but honestly I think they're malicious and unfounded.
