Hotel Ambasador

I won't be coming back. For about three days I put out the sign asking for the room to be cleaned, but when I returned it had been flipped to “do not disturb.” The room never got cleaned, and we had no fresh towels or toilet paper during our stay. We also paid a parking fee and still never got a spot. When I asked about it, staff were rude, saying I was always going out to have fun and that's why I had no space. They said parking was for everyone and wasn't included in what we paid, even though they charged us a fee for it. They then told me to park somewhere far outside the hotel and mocked me, offering to give me money if parking was a problem. Very rude people.

The resort has its own beach, and there's a neat, clean pool that's handy to everything. We were very happy with our stay. The place looks marvelous after its recent renovation, with spacious rooms and balconies, comfortable large beds, nice bathrooms, and a sea-side view. Breakfast is included as an option, and it was a quality meal worth choosing.

It's nicely set between the Black Sea and the lake, but this is just a nice place, nothing more. The gym was under construction, the pool was small, and breakfast was very basic. The staff were students, sometimes from other countries, and when we asked about the hotel or area, they often didn't know much.

The restaurant food was average, though breakfast was five-star. The pool was pretty and close to the restaurant, and the beach bar was clean and well organized. This is a decent hotel right by the sea, with a great location. The staff were excellent, always ready to help with a smile. A good choice.
