The staff were really kind and helpful, and the shower had good pressure and temperature. I can't comment on the breakfast or room service since we didn't use either. My stay was pretty okay, but there were plenty of drawbacks I tried not to dwell on. For a hotel that's barely three stars, I guess you get what you get. Space was a big issue. The rooms were so tiny the queen bed took up nearly the whole floor, and the bathrooms felt like sarcophagi. Our family of three needed to buy two rooms because one wasn't enough. Every closet creaked, and we could hear them in other rooms through the paper thin walls. The mini fridge in my room wasn't working properly, and the only lamp gave so little light that I couldn't even see what was wrong. The shower was just a head above the toilet, so washing made everything in the bathroom damp or soaking wet. The floor never dried, and any sand or little shell on you would end up sitting there. The layout was confusing, too. My room opened to the outside, which felt less safe. My parents were by the pool and could hear everything happening in and around it. Some rooms had balconies, while others just had two chairs outside the door. You never knew what setup you'd get, like a box of chocolates. At least all the bathrooms were the same.

The service was the standout at Jijos. From the welcoming, helpful young woman at reception to the attentive restaurant ladies, the friendly beach bar staff, and the personable men handling the car parking, everyone went out of their way to make us comfortable. We stayed for four nights and are already keen to return. Jijos has a private pool right on the beach, with lounge chairs and a beach bar for drinks along the Black Sea. You can walk straight from the room onto the sand. Our room was spacious, spotless, and had a large balcony with lovely views. Breakfast was delicious and set us up well for the day. It was a wonderful, memorable stay. Thanks to the Jijos team!

The staff were so kind. Since we'd driven for more than ten hours, they got our room ready a little early for us. We came in June, and it was generally peaceful, apart from the busy morning rush as people headed to the beach. Our room was small, but plenty for two adults and our nine year old. The bed fit all three of us comfortably. The hotel is underrated, and the price felt fair for what we got. It's an excellent spot: about a 30 second walk from the entrance to the beach, then a bit more walking to reach the seafront because the beach is so big. Breakfast was good, though a bit expensive for our budget. That seemed to be the normal price around there, and we found other, cheaper places to eat.

We had such a good time that we added another night. The hotel was good value, clean, well located, and had a pool. There's an agreement with habibi beach that gets you sun beds for just 20 ron, about 3 pounds. Breakfast was decent, and the staff were really friendly.

The room was a good size and the place was clean. Staff were lovely, helpful, and hard working, and the restaurant service was great. There's a little pub on the beach with great cocktails and frappes, plus a great pool with a spa and waterfall close to the beach. We felt welcome and had a great time. After I hurt my knee, the staff even brought food to my room. Really good service for the price, definitely recommend.
