The rooms are nice, and the location is decent too. Service was a different story. They don’t speak much English, and when we called to order room service, they hung up several times without confirming anything. The first time, I waited more than half an hour before realizing they’d ignored the call. Zero stars for the service.

Everything felt lovely, beautiful, and relaxing. The reception and restaurant teams were great, and a special thank you to VJ in the restaurant for the exceptional service. A big thank you to the manager and the whole team.

Good value for the money. In the off-season the spa is usually empty, and the staff are friendly without giving you unnecessary attention.

Breakfast was a highlight, with lots to choose from and fresh, tasty food. We’d arrived very late after more than 26 hours of travel, so the average room service meal didn’t bother us much. It was reasonably priced and came quite quickly. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The sauna and steam rooms were fantastic. We also had massages, which were good for the price. The spa was acceptable overall, though the “emotional shower” had very high water pressure and its aromatherapy feature didn’t seem to work. For the price and location, Splendid & New Splendid are hard to beat. We’d absolutely stay here again if we’re back on the Black Sea coast.
