Savoy Hotel

I came back after staying here four years ago, and hardly anything seems to have changed. The restaurant and food, beach setup, pool, and even ping pong area all still have the same 70s feel. It was like going back in time, but not in a fun, nostalgic way. I can appreciate retro style, though I was hoping for some modern updates to improve the experience. If you want a trip down memory lane, this could suit you. For a fresh, contemporary vacation, you might want to look elsewhere.

Savoy Hotel works well for families heading to the seaside with children. There are several ways to spend time on the beach and nearby by the swimming pool. The food is quite good, the atmosphere is friendly, and the staff are always ready to provide what you need. The reason I’m giving it four stars instead of five is the room service during our five-night stay. Towels, shower gel, and sheets weren’t replaced while we were there, even though we were told towels would be changed daily and sheets every two days.

The bed was great, the room was clean, and the food was really, really good. The staff were very friendly too. Excellent, perfect in a word, and I can’t wait to come back!

The beachfront location makes this hotel very appealing, and the meals are tasty with a good variety. But the rooms are three-star at best, and the hotel clearly doesn’t merit four stars. The food doesn’t deserve a four-star rating either.
