The building has a museum-like feel, and the people hosting us were lovely. Its tucked-away setting made it easy to leave the city behind and enjoy the mountain air and nature. The food was just as lovely. Mobile data was very patchy outside the dining room, which added to the sense of being away from it all. We'll definitely be back.

The stairs to the second room in the triple room are hard to manage, so I wouldn't bring older parents or small children. The beds in that room weren't comfortable either. The place itself is clean and appealing, with old objects that add charm, and the staff are very welcoming. The food was good, though not great. I felt that nearly every activity cost a lot, including the fire, ciubar, and coffee outside the morning. They seem to be working toward something nice and have partly succeeded, but there's still a way to go before it feels great to me.

We really enjoyed the natural setting, which brought us a lot of joy, and found the experience authentic with brilliant food. It would suit couples or families wanting a break from hectic city life, and I'd recommend it.

The hosts made us feel very welcome, and the rooms were cozy. We got to enjoy a bit of Romanian history, an aurochs rezervation, and a lovely little waterfall. Our host cooked delicious Romanian food from local products. Such a relaxing getaway, and we can't wait to return!
