The apartment had a great view, but the washing machine flooded it when we tried to use it. I wondered how many guests before us had had the same problem. The shower was hard to use too: the temperature would go from scalding hot to freezing cold for 10 minutes. At checkout there was nowhere to leave our bags until later in the day, and the receptionist was miserable about it. We were very glad to get away from that area in the end. Never again!
The internet photos gave a misleading impression. The view is blocked by an ugly, unfinished building, and the smell of French fries is everywhere. For $150 a night, I could have found somewhere much better, especially when places go for around $80 or less. It was overpriced and not very clean, and I'm disappointed. I won't return.
Summer weekends are rough because the clubs play music so loudly that getting a good night's sleep isn't possible. I like the place in spring, before tourist season, and enjoy it in winter too.
The apartment was neglected, and the reception didn't fix the problems I reported. The shower was broken, and the showerhead didn't give enough hot water. Though there was a kitchen, it had no pots or pans. They eventually left me one old, completely dirty pan. The Wi-Fi didn't work, and the kitchen had no power and worked badly. I wouldn't come back, even for free. Not recommended.
We travelled here from Cluj-Napoca after being told our booking was secure and reserved. When we arrived, they let someone else take our place because that person had paid more. We were tricked!
