We had a lovely weekend at Pensiunea Iacoban with 16 friends, from October 12-14, 2024. It’s tucked away from the busy roads and surrounded by forest, which gives the place a fairytale feel. There’s a separate house set up for grilling, and the owners have provided gear for football, badminton, and volleyball. Little things like the sound system, hair dryer, iron, dishes, cutlery, and other essentials made everyday routines easier. The ski slopes are a 15-20 minute drive away in winter. One small thing could be better: the bedding, especially the blankets, could be cleaner. There were black hairs and stains on the duvet cover. It wasn’t a major issue, and I’m attaching photos. It’s a great house for a weekend break or school holiday, and Gura Humorului has lots of interesting activities for kids of all ages.

The view is really nice, and the place is warm with lots of utilities included. A very good choice for a mini vacation. I’d strongly recommend it.
