This place has lovely music and cool people, so I’d definitely recommend it. The building has stood on that beach since the Callatis festivals, and it has the feel of a vintage rock café. Cheers!

There are tables outside where you can sit and enjoy the Black Sea, as long as there aren’t oldies around. Inside, the bar has two entrances, one from the street and one from the beach. The prices are fair, and I’d recommend it. The music is unconventional, which may or may not suit your taste, but you can hear anything from jazz to rock instead of the same endless radio playlist.

The place has Vama Veche vibes, with travel photos all over one wall, rock posters and CDs on the ceiling, and funny costumes and hats as decorations. There are two cats and a bird around too, which help make it feel welcoming and homey. It’s a great spot to hang out with friends at any time of year, and the prices are low. In summer, the terrace gives you the waves, a light breeze, the hot sun, and people along the shore. In winter, you can warm up with hot chocolate or tea, play board games, and laugh with your friends.

Good music and cheap beer, and the people are great. It’s the only place in Mangalia where I’ve found that combination. If you get bored, you can play cards or chess. Rock on! \m/
