Mera Brise

The location was excellent, close to the town centre and a few beaches, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was standard, edible but nothing special. My room had a few problems: the safe didn't work, and shower water slowly spread across the whole bathroom because of a construction issue, leaving it constantly damp. There was also a steady noise from the central chiller unit at the hotel's corner, so I'd avoid corner rooms.

The balcony view of the Black Sea was the highlight, and you could hear the waves from the room. The location is fantastic, right across from the sea. Our room was a decent size with a comfortable bed, and the bathroom was spacious with strong water pressure. Housekeeping cleaned well and brought fresh towels and water every day. The reception staff were friendly and helpful, and spoke excellent English. Breakfast had a great selection, including delicious omelettes made to order. We also ate at the hotel restaurant and enjoyed the food. We had an excellent stay at Mera Brise, and I'd highly recommend it.

I stayed for nearly 40 days on a business trip and enjoyed every moment. The rooms are large, clean, and nice, and the people were always welcoming and friendly. It's easy to get around on foot, with the marina and town centre both within walking distance. Thanks to everyone who made my stay comfortable. Best hotel in Mangalia, even though it's a four star.

The restaurant staff are exceptional with guests and the people visiting them. Dinner can be a real treat, with a live accordion player and a disco-style duo who sing beautifully. The food left us happy and satisfied, and the music carried the memories beyond the restaurant. You can eat, drink, or meet indoors or outside, with the lovely sound of the Black Sea nearby. After that, take a stroll, nap, or go for a swim. There are daily bird shows, free to watch, as they fish, float, and fly. You don't have to be rich to enjoy yourself here, you just have to live to enjoy it. Come alone, with family, your love, or coworkers. Mera Hotel is a place to stay. Loud visitors talking, local dogs, and sea birds can test your patience, though those noisy moments are brief, except for the birds and dogs on the parking lot side. Closing the windows or curtains makes the noise almost inaudible. For a better night's sleep, choose the seaside of the hotel, listen to the Black Sea winds, and breathe in the fresh ocean air.
