Hotel Edelweiss

Our room was spacious, clean, carpeted, and cozy. The front desk staff were courteous and welcoming. The one problem during our overnight stay was the hot water: there wasn't any, despite waiting a long time in the shower, and the situation was still the same the next morning.

We came to enjoy the city during the Medieval Fest, but the room problems got in the way. The bathroom had no cold water, and both the shower head and toilet paper holder were coming loose. A tiny fridge made such a racket that I had to unplug it to sleep. We couldn't even take a shower. We'd booked a double room and were first given a twin room with water dripping from the bathroom ceiling. They then moved us to a double in the attic, where it was terribly hot, around 30 degrees, because the air conditioning wasn't on. We turned it on at 18, but after midnight the temperature had only fallen to 24. The machine seemed ancient. In the morning we asked for a specific refund because they'd got our booking wrong and moved us to a lower quality room. They said they couldn't do that and told us to complain to booking.com, saying it wasn't their problem. This place was a bad joke. Stay away, zero stars.

We spent four nights here as a family. The room was warm, cozy, and spacious, and the staff and food at the hotel restaurant were great. We also held a class reunion there, and everything went smoothly. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality. We'll definitely be back!

A good room for a short stay, with a balcony on the second floor, and air conditioning. It wasn't anything special, but the price was reasonable and the staff were fine. The hotel is fairly large, clean, and quiet, with breakfast included. It's about a 10-minute walk from the old medieval city center, which is nice to visit along with Sighișoara.
