Moneasa is a lovely little resort, quiet and good for outdoor activities like mountain biking and hiking. The view was great, and both the food and service were very good. I loved the chicken breast with mushroom sauce and traditional potatoes. Save room for the Papanași too, the portions are huge and delicious. I can’t finish both, so I always take one home :))

We sat outside with a lovely view, sounds of nature, and the occasional fish jumping out of the water. The fresh juice and excellent espresso made the wait pleasant. We arrived early to eat, but had to wait for the soup to be ready. It was fresh and wonderful. Loved it!

The food was better than I expected. I had the cordon Bleu with mashed potatoes and aromatic herbs, and I’d definitely recommend it. The staff were respectful and accommodating too. It’s a great place for coffee or a meal in Moneasa, set on a little island in the lake with lovely views of the willow trees and water.

The location is lovely and the staff are friendly, but the food was mediocre at best. Everything was extremely salty, and we couldn’t eat half of what we ordered. Even the simple boiled potato wedges mix was so overcooked and salty it was inedible. It’s a pity, since the place itself looks nice.

I waited over an hour and a half for a watered-down mojito and cold Papanași, covered in awful cream and jam. The waitress also looked pretty dumb. This was the most awful experience of my life. I wouldn’t recommend it even if you’re starving. You could go next door to Cerbul Albastru instead.
