Casa Boby

We came to explore the Danube Delta, and Casa Boby was conveniently placed with everything reasonably close by. Our room was nice, and the garden was a lovely spot to sit and eat or have a drink. The hosts live there and were friendly and accommodating. Mr. Boby took us out on the Delta by boat, which was absolutely worth it. Indoor parking was a big plus, and we'd recommend the place to anyone.

The boat trip with Boby was the highlight for us. We spent a full day out and came back amazed by the nature and wildlife. We also visited Mila 23, a small village in the middle of the Delta with no roads around it, reachable only by boat. Another place worth visiting is the museum of Ivan Patzaichin, the world famous champion canoeists who had a big influence on protecting and popularizing the Delta Danube. The stay itself was clean and comfortable, and there was no problem arriving before check-in. We waited outside and opened our first beers while the rooms were being prepared. No food is provided, but the outdoor summer kitchen is fully equipped, so you can make what you like and spend much less than eating out. Shops and the local lake are within a five minute walk. It's a friendly, quiet, affordable place, and they offer boat trips too. The owners may not speak English, but Google translate made it easy to communicate.

I spent a week here and enjoyed the holiday. The rooms and bathrooms were clean, the AC worked well, and the shared areas were pleasant and useful. The owners went beyond what they had to do. We took a few boat trips that included stops at restaurants off the beaten path, where the food was good. I can't compare prices with other places in the area. If you need a base for exploring, this is a good choice.

We had a wonderful time in the Danube delta with Adriana and Boby. The rooms were clean and nice, and the big pension has a beautiful garden with lots of comfortable spots to sit outside. It's right in the center of Murighiol, so you can reach everything on foot in just a few minutes. Adriana and Boby were warm-hearted, welcoming, and helpful throughout, sharing ideas for things to do in the region and answering all our questions. We'd be very happy to come back. Thanks so much!
