Laguna Albastra

The pools weren’t much use to us. The long one is for babies and rarely used, while the round pool is only 1,5m deep and too small for more than 2-3 families, so we couldn’t get a turn. The garden is large, and the rooms are spacious enough and clean, with a TV, fridge, AC, and all the bathroom essentials. We tried several kinds of fish, storceag soup, chicken dishes, dessert, and wine. It was all fresh and tasty, served hot, and we didn’t have to wait long.

The restaurant food was very good, both the fish and chicken, and the prices were decent. They also accept vacation tickets. The hotel reception girls were especially helpful when our original village sailors cancelled because too few people showed up at the port. Even half an hour before departure, they booked us two places for two days of trips. The boat service is great for seeing the Delta, including sunset from the middle of the lake and visits to Caraorman & Letea. You can count on them for quality service, without wasting time on phone calls that go nowhere. I’d visit again 100%.

The fresh fish dishes were excellent, and the hosts and staff were very friendly. This is a picturesque guest house with great service. They can also help with guidance and Delta trips, so feel free to ask. A very pleasant stay all around.

The food and accommodation were great. The pool area is poorly designed, though. The long, narrow pool should have been the deeper one for adults to swim in, while the small round one would suit kids better since it’s more “isolated” and sits higher, which would be perfect for noisy kids.
