Casa De Vacanta Neagu

It’s a lovely place with beautiful scenery and plenty of nearby spots to explore, and I had a great stay. I plan to come back. The owner, Mister Neagu, is a talented artist, and you can feel his touch as soon as you enter the spacious courtyard. It’s a family business, so the service felt very welcoming and homey. The hosts are cheerful, caring, and warm, making this a nice choice for a rural team building or staff retreat if you want a different kind of stay. It’s not a five-star hotel, so don’t expect fancy rooms or polished waiters, but everything is beautiful, clean, and tastefully decorated. There’s an ATM across the street and several local shops within 100 meters. Rafting on Siriu river and boat rides on the Siriu artificial lake are 35-40 minutes away by car, and both are well worth doing.

The host was a joy to talk to, and really funny. The food was amazing, all homemade with natural ingredients. They even served us a complimentary homemade plum drink, plus bread and cabbage salad. We’ll definitely come back!

The setting is fantastic, and it’s good value for the price. The food was good and the room was okay, though the bathroom wasn’t as good. The shower curtain needs replacing or should be removed.

We stopped by for a meal a few days ago. It wasn’t expensive, but the food was mediocre. The bread seemed old and was awful, and the polenta wasn’t great either. I wasn’t impressed, and personally wouldn’t recommend the place.
