Residence Neptun

The pool was nice, and we had no complaints about our room. The experience felt fair for what we paid, though my wife and I had some stomach problems after eating the meals there.

The location is good, quiet, and has plenty of parking. The staff were welcoming, too. Rooms are clean and fine, with a minimalist look rather than anything fancy. The pool is clean, easy to access, and next to a nice garden. The bathrooms have been a recurring issue on both of my stays. The shower pressure can be weak or it may leak, the toilet doesn't always work properly, and there's no ventilation. I'd bring my own towels, too, rather than rely on the ones provided.

The pool was a real highlight, big enough for a quick swim before bed after coming back to the hotel. The rooms were spacious, and the place was great value for money. The bathroom could've been cleaned better. The tile color hides the dirt pretty well, and I think the cleaner may rely on that.

The outdoor area is lovely, with flowers, green grass, and a clean, well-kept pool surrounded by chairs and umbrellas. There's also a bar, restaurant, and outdoor parking, and breakfast was good. The superior room was spacious, with a large bed, furniture, a small TV, a table and two chairs, plus a balcony with another table, two chairs, and an ashtray. It had a refrigerator, and the bathroom was large with a roomy shower. A few things let it down: the bathroom wasn't very clean at check-in, some room lights didn't work, and there were dead mosquitoes on the walls. The hallway carpet had lots of stains, parking couldn't fit all the cars, and the hotel is far from Neptun center. Still, it's a good place to stay.
