The gardens were a lovely surprise, with a large one in front and another behind the property by the forest. There's parking inside the grounds for all the guests, and the yard is tidy, full of greenery, and set back a reasonable distance from the road, which has acceptable traffic. The house and its facilities were a pleasant surprise too, and the hosts were kind. The price and quality were excellent. The rooms are clean, airy, bright, and spacious. There's no AC, but the cool nights and nearby forest make up for it. We wanted to leave the windows open and listen to the quiet of nature, or take in the sky from one of the villa terraces. There's also a semi-open terrace and a gazebo by the fountain behind the building, both lovely places to unwind. Meals aren't included, though there are enough choices nearby. The bathroom is excellent, spacious, clean, and well equipped, including a hydromassage cabin, with direct, adequate ventilation and heating for cold weather. The house cat is very sociable, and the attentive, friendly, well-educated hosts can share plenty of information about local sights. It's worth a try. We weren't disappointed, and highly recommend it.
