The rooster may wake you up, but otherwise nights are wonderfully quiet. There are farm animals behind the house that are fun to spend time with, and the whole little farmhouse feels authentic, like time has stopped. One of the nicest places around.

We had such a great stay, and the hospitality was among the best I've experienced anywhere. It felt very traditional and authentic, with lovely-looking rooms, tasty natural food, and fun animals around. They even have a Romanian jacuzzi. The price is reasonable for how much they give you, and they really care about their guests. Ten stars!

The owners are so sweet and curious about your travels and life, even when you don't share a language. We were fed fresh homemade food until we could barely eat another bite, and the location is gorgeous. Pick up a traditional handmade choker from the grandma while you're there. We had an amazing time and can't wait to come back. It felt like heaven.

Everyone in our group enjoyed the visit, and our hosts were wonderful, always ready to lend a hand. Order a ciubăr if you'd like a lovely hot soak. This place is a real treasure.

In Breb village, the owners made us feel at home right from the welcome shot of homemade palinca. The yard is spacious and nicely decorated, with picnic tables. The rooms are cozy and clean, though not luxurious, and breakfast was very good, with typical food from the Maramures region.
