Ramada by Wyndham Bucharest Otopeni Airport

On arrival, there’s a bottle of water in the room, but from the next day on they charge you for it. When I asked why, all I got was “it’s the procedure.” It’s water, a basic human need, and I can’t understand who benefits from charging for one bottle a day. If you’re staying here, bring your own water because that’s what their procedures seem to require. The restaurant doesn’t feel welcoming, orders take a very long time, and there’s constant pressure to tip. Breakfast is very poor. The rooms aren’t cleaned regularly, and when they are, the cleaning isn’t good enough. In my opinion, though, those aren’t even the biggest problems.

I stayed at Ramada Otopeni on October 1-2, 2025, and left behind a pair of boots worth €1,600 by accident. The hotel said they’d found them and would keep them safe until I got back. But when I returned, they had somehow “disappeared.” Management said the employee who confirmed finding them was “on her first day,” as if that made it okay to lose something so expensive. There was no apology or effort to put things right, just indifference. I chose the hotel expecting professionalism, and this experience completely broke my trust. I won’t return, and I’d warn others to watch their belongings carefully.

Missing my connecting flight turned into a night at this hotel, and they made a bad day easier to bear. The bedding was good, everything was clean, the staff were professional, and breakfast was very good. Five stars without hesitation, and I’d happily book here again if I ever ended up in the same situation. Happy 1st Birthday Ramada Otopeni! Wishing you many, many happy guests.

I was here for over a week on a business trip near the airport, and it worked out great. The bar staff are great, and chef Razvan’s food is fantastic. I didn’t need to go out for another meal. Thanks to everyone.
