Vila Zoe Bucharest Airport & Therme & Parking Otopeni

It was our first time in Romania, and we had an amazing time enjoying the country and its culture. We're Colombian 🇨🇴. VILA ZOE was wonderful, and they treated us like family. Fully recommend it.

The owners were lovely, polite and helpful, and I can't wait to come back. We picked the place for its closeness to the airport and Therme Spa. Uber rides to and from them cost around £5-6 each, which was really cheap. Our room had plenty of space, was clean, and had everything we needed for a short stay, including toiletries. There's a nice dining area downstairs if you don't want to eat in your room, and the kids liked that the TV had all the mod cons. The balcony was beautiful, though it was too cold for us to use. A couple of doors away, Tasty Box does takeaway with loads of food options if you're stuck. About the planes: yes, this is right near the airport, which is what makes it convenient. None of us were woken by aircraft noise once we were asleep.

The hosts are friendly and accommodating, the place is clean despite holes in the bedding, and the price is good. Being close to the airport is handy, and there was no road traffic noise. But the building sits right under the flight path. Planes came in to land day and night, sometimes every five minutes, or longer if you were lucky. Light sleepers may want to avoid it. I couldn't find any smoke detectors or fire extinguishers anywhere, which is a major red flag. Food options were extremely limited. I stayed one night and won't return.

The hosts let me stay in the garden even after checkout so I could rest and recover. They made me feel like part of a family, and I'm grateful for their kindness. For anyone delayed, on a layover, or dealing with a cancelled flight, the flexible, simple check-in is helpful. The renovated building is fresh and clean, and the new rooms are comfortable with all the necessities. Breakfast was abundant, made with love, and had lots of choices for different tastes and cultures. There are lovely green gardens outside where guests can rest or work, with couches, shade and tables. Thank you, and God bless you.
