RIN Airport

We booked three rooms and ran into the same problems in each during our three-day stay at Rin Hotel Airport Bucharest. The hotel itself was average, but the staff were unfriendly and didn’t seem willing to help. Front desk service was rude, and the entertainment options advertised in the rooms were limited. The listing promised 24/7 room service, yet orders around 10 PM were often ignored or canceled without an apology. I also felt I was treated differently because of my race and religion, which made the stay very uncomfortable. Wi-Fi wasn’t reliable either. This was a very disappointing stay and not worth the price. I’d advise others to look elsewhere until the service improves, room service hours are clearly stated and honored, entertainment and Wi-Fi are fixed, and guests receive respectful, consistent treatment. Staff training and a zero-tolerance approach to discrimination are needed.

I travel a lot, and it’s unusual to find a hotel this good. The rooms are lovely and clean, and the staff are friendly and attentive. Food and service are outstanding. I highly recommend it, it’s the best.

Traveling with our three-year-old, this was a humiliating and disgusting experience. We’d booked the shuttle with reception the night before, but they still took our bags out and claimed there was no booking. It felt like a scam. At checkout I paid for the bottle of water I’d consumed. Five minutes later, after I’d left, the receptionist came outside shouting that I also had to pay for two whiskies. What a shame. I’ll take this matter further with the National Authority for protection of Consumers.

A good location for an early departure from Bucharest airport. Check-in was quick and easy, and the room was very clean. The modern bathroom had the biggest walk-in shower we had on our two-week trip.
