The cabin has a great feel and affordable accommodation, and the surrounding scenery is lovely. It’s especially well placed for riders during the Sibiu Cycling Tour, when the peloton passes right out front. Very bike friendly.

Breakfast was excellent, and Grandorii guesthouse was quiet and spotlessly clean. I rarely see this much warmth, good taste, and refinement together in Romania. The people working there, who I think may also be the owners, were wonderfully kind and pleasant, excellent hosts. I highly recommend the place. If I were handing out scores, they’d get multiples of 10!
The rooms were a bit cold, unfortunately. The owners were very welcoming, kept an eye on whether we needed anything, and were always available. On check-in day they even called to let me know about the road conditions, snow, and temperature.
