We come here a couple of times each year. It’s a traditional place with lovely hosts and a really special experience. Set high up near the mountains, it feels remote enough to enjoy the quiet. Every morning, the surrounding mountain views are astonishing. Excepțional :)

There are two caves: one is a small single room, while the other goes deep into the mountain. You can explore the deeper one if you’re not claustrophobic and have boots and a lantern. It’s very wet and slippery inside. There’s a lot of garbage by the cave entrance, which is the downside.

We had a nice weekend with friends here a few years ago, though I don’t know if things are still the same. The rooms were very basic but clean, and we slept well. The place feels cozy and welcoming, nicely set on a hill. It can only be reserved as a whole by a group, so our friends booked it for a mountain day trip. We usually prefer somewhere that serves meals, so I was a little hesitant at first. But it worked well for making our own barbecues. When we wanted a starter or dessert, we called Casa Boiereasca, asked them to prepare some, and went to pick it up. I’d recommend it for a group.
