I’ve eaten at both amazing and really poor restaurants, and I think my opinion counts. Service here was seriously bad all around. We waited nearly three hours for the food, and when it finally came, it was wrong. One drink was wrong, another was forgotten, and after three reminders, the one they brought had no ice.

We really liked this hotel. There’s a lovely restaurant and a beautiful terrace, though there wasn’t much to walk to without a car, so we just strolled along the village street. The room felt comfortable even if its interior wasn’t new, and the bathroom was decent. The bed was made up of two mattresses instead of one.

We went just for the restaurant and found it cozy, with a nicely decorated interior and a lovely terrace overlooking a great view. There’s a big, varied menu at acceptable prices. The food was tasty and the portions generous, but service took a while: about 15 minutes for someone to take our order, then another 30 for the meal. We recommend it.

The food selection is broad, with specialties chosen very tastefully, though it isn’t cheap. The prices seem aimed at foreign tourists. The building has an interesting medieval style, even though it was built around 1980.

We only stopped by for a few hours, and didn’t stay or eat at the restaurant. The castle and its surroundings are beautiful, with a lovely view. It’s a nice building to admire and take some great pictures of its structure and history.
