We called at 2AM and they got us settled quickly. The bed was very comfortable, the amenities were top quality, and breakfast was generous. For what you get, it’s very cheap. A great boutique hotel in downtown Ploiesti. Highly recommended, and I’ll surely come back.

The mansion gives the hotel a lovely atmosphere, with attractive old style decorations. The staff seemed a bit quirky, but they did help in the end. We asked for two separate beds and were assured we’d get them, but there was only one bed in the room. Breakfast choices are rather limited, and there’s no elevator.

The mansion looks kind of cool, though the rooms are small. Breakfast is in a chilly, noisy Wintergarten without heat, and I wouldn’t recommend the breakfast itself, though the coffee is good. The hotel bar has only three or four chairs, and they’re very uncomfortable. I was here on a business trip to assess the hotel for my company, and I wouldn’t recommend it. I noticed the receptionist works a 24 hour shift. It’s the end of October, so I don’t know what it’s like here in summer. The center is about a 10 minute walk, which is fine, though half the stores are empty.

It’s a really good hotel, very clean, with polite, friendly staff. I’d absolutely recommend it.
