Breakfast was fresh and had a good variety, but for the price I think there are more appealing options. The hotel is visibly dated, and there’s no elevator, even to the fourth floor. Our room had a strange old smell and no WiFi signal. We were moved on arrival because a party was taking place in the building we’d booked. They called it an upgrade, but it didn’t feel like one: our room was on the fourth floor, there was no elevator, and it had steps inside, which wasn’t what we wanted.

The service was fantastic, and the staff were so warm and welcoming that the place felt homely. Our rooms were immaculately clean, and it was excellent value for the price. We loved our stay and can’t wait to return.

Casa Viorel stands out for its service and value, even after hundreds of hotel stays over more than 15 years of travel. Dani is the best host I’ve had. Everything else was great too: helpful, friendly staff, a very clean room, and excellent food. Thanks to Dani and the team. We’ll be back.

The food has local flavors, the service is dedicated, and the prices and amenities are decent. This is a promising new place in Poiana Brasov, already adding a spa and jacuzzi and making progress on an ambitious adventure park. Keep an eye on how it develops and visit now and then. You’ll be delighted.

We had a great time here as a family, and our child especially enjoyed the stay. The restaurant food was delicious, the rooms were comfortable, and the hotel is in a lovely location. Everyone on staff was kind, helpful, and polite. We’ll definitely return.
