Hotel Simona Halep

After staying at more than 30 hotels in Romania, I can say this was the most welcoming place. The staff were kind, helpful, and professional. The rooms were perfect, and everything was new and clean. Thanks again!

The restaurant staff, especially RADU AND CHOMPU, and the food selection were superior. My one-star rating is because of JULIA’s condescending attitude, arrogance, poor listening, and terrible customer service. I emailed Simona Halep directly about several incidents I found offensive and unprofessional, hoping she could address the issues quickly. So far, I’ve received no reply. The rooms are stylish and comfortable, kept impeccably clean with housekeeping twice daily. Breakfast is very good, served in an elegant dining room with attentive service. The new spa is modern and spotless, and a lovely place to relax after a day out. What made the stay especially memorable was the service. The front desk team were consistently warm, professional, and helpful. CSABA, the restaurant manager, gave guests genuine, personal attention, and CIPRIAN handled every request or issue promptly, with a smile and great professionalism. A boutique hotel I’d highly recommend.

The main road is the one drawback. Sitting on the balcony, you hear cars and bikes, so the forest sounds get drowned out. The rooms are well insulated and quiet enough for sleeping, but leaving the door open for fresh air isn’t really an option. Inside, the hotel is modern and well designed, and the rooms are very comfortable. The staff are welcoming, the restaurant is pretty good and seemed to have the best food in Poiana Brașov. It’s also handy for walking around the village and getting to the mountain lifts. We had a great stay.
