The apartment felt old, there were bugs, and the bathroom smelled bad. We’d booked a room with two beds through booking, but at check-in they said none were available and gave us an apartment instead. When we got back around 12pm on the first night, the electric key wouldn’t work. Breakfast was a bit lacking on the sweet side. This doesn’t feel like a 4-star hotel.

The rooms were spacious, and having two rooms connected by a door worked really well for our group with a child and grandparents. There’s also private parking, and the price is low for the location. But the stay was a complete disappointment for a place rated 4 stars. There was a strong smell throughout the hotel, apparently meant to mask an even stronger sewage smell in the bathrooms. One bathroom had no water in the toilet overnight, and the shower leaked. The heat was turned off during the night, leaving us quite cold. We were told it was a maintenance error, though I’d read this had happened before. Breakfast wasn’t a buffet. Each guest got an individual plate, and half the food looked old, so I didn’t risk eating it. The carpets were old and dusty, and the mattresses and pillows were so uncomfortable that everyone in our group had bad back pain afterward. I wouldn’t recommend it if you have even modest expectations. I wish I’d read the reviews first, since I wasn’t the one who made the booking. I hope others can make a better informed choice.

The staff were incredibly helpful, and the location is great. During our three-day stay, though, the bedsheets weren’t changed daily as we expected. Breakfast was a limited set menu.

There’s a really good sauna and a small sports room. The hotel itself was clean and nice, near the bus station, with restaurants and attractions no more than about a 20-minute walk away. Breakfast starting at 8:30 AM didn’t suit me since I usually eat around 7. Some rooms look onto the neighboring building, but that wasn’t a big deal.
