Hotel Crocus / Pensiunea Crocus had a peaceful feel that made it easy to rest after a day of travel or exploring. The staff were warm and ready to help, and the rooms were clean, cozy, well kept, and had what we needed for a comfortable stay. With good service, a convenient location, and very good value for money, I’d happily stay again and recommend Hotel Crocus to visitors to the region.

We’re especially thankful for the kindness and support offered to tourists from Ukraine. The hostess and staff welcomed us so warmly that we felt at home, and their thoughtfulness made the stay unforgettable. At Hotel Crocus in Poiana Brașov, we enjoyed the varied, delicious breakfasts, the breathtaking views, and the fresh mountain air with the scent of pine. The clean, cozy rooms had a charming retro-Balkan style. A truly lovely visit.

There’s loads to do here, billiard, jacuzzi, sauna, table tennis, and you can ask the staff to make dinner for you. They’re remarkably kind and accommodating. The breakfast was generous, the dining room and spacious bedrooms are each decorated with care, and the whole place, inside and out, feels designed with warmth and love. We also had fun watching the peacocks outside. For what we paid, this is honestly one of the best places I’ve stayed. 100% recommended.

After a long drive through Romania, we got to the hotel late in the evening without a chance to eat on the road. The host welcomed us so warmly and went out of her way to prepare a simple, exceptionally tasty meal. We had a very nice stay here two months ago.
