Villa Quad

It’s in just the right spot, neither too far away nor too close.

The room was warm, with a heated towel rail, and the bed linen and towels were clean, which I really appreciated. It was a nice room with a fridge and private bathroom, plus there’s a shared kitchen with coffee, another fridge, and some utensils. The hostess was lovely and responsive, and I feel like I could ask her anything. You can walk everywhere from this good location. Parking is outside, with a streetlight and a camera near the house. There isn’t a mirror in the room, and the bathroom mirror is on the sink, so you have to bend over to use it. A hair dryer and slippers were missing too. Otherwise, everything was fine. There are no supermarkets nearby, just kiosks and small shops, and you can pay by card everywhere.

What a miserable villa. The rooms and bathrooms are extremely small, the linen was dirty, and cleanliness left a lot to be desired. There’s nowhere with a table and chairs to have a snack. The so-called kitchen is upstairs, reached by an improvised outside staircase where you could easily break your neck. There’s no parking either. At 275 lei a night, this is a mess and a shame for Poiana Brasov.

The lighting in the courtyards and on the access road needs work. The rooms are simple and clean, the price is good for what you get, and the place is quiet and secluded. There’s a playground for kids, bikes by the house for the trail, and deals on ATV rentals.
