Breakfast came with local products and specialties, and the owners were very hospitable and took great care of us. Casa Lia is a beautifully situated old house, restored into an excellent place to stay while visiting Bukovina. It’s a great base for visiting the monasteries or heading out into nature. Highly recommend.

The photos on bookings.com really don’t do this place justice, it looks about 100 times better in person. Everything was very clean, the hosts were warm, and the whole stay was amazing. It’s a great getaway homestay for large families.

At first I was a little unsure, since this was the first place where I’d been asked to take off my shoes. That concern turned out to be unfounded. The accommodation was somewhat basic but fine overall, and our hosts were incredibly generous and helpful. Breakfast was sensational. Their English was rudimentary, and our Rumanian was hopeless, but we got along just fine. Go for it!

The regional traditional style gives this place a special design. The apartments were very clean and comfortable, and breakfast was excellent, with homemade products. The host was very nice and helpful.
