The only snag was the hot water. It comes from a 300L tank, so it can take a while to warm up. Otherwise, the guest house was clean, and the caretaker was always around and keen to make the stay pleasant. We had a barbecue too; the host supplied the wood, and we brought the food and coal. I’d recommend it for a 1-2 day stay on Transalpina.

The hosts were great and the view was lovely. Some of the other guests, though, were quite loud, and the mix of people staying there can be unpredictable.

The room was clean, the staff friendly, and the view was nice. But it was cold outside and there was no heat in the room. Waking up at 6 am in the cold was uncomfortable, so I changed my rating from 5 stars to 3.

Clean rooms and nice staff. It’s a new hotel, so everything is in good shape, and the view is lovely. Prices are acceptable if you call the hotel directly to make a reservation.
