Pension Casa Contelui

It’s a quiet, pleasant setting with around six parking spots, which was plenty. The walk into town is quite a hill if you prefer to get around on foot, but we run every day, so it wasn’t an issue for us. The family who owns the place were kind and helpful; their son drove us into town and pointed out a few things. The bathroom was extremely clean, and there’s a kitchen shared by the two rooms. Coffee was the only thing missing, though I’m sure she would’ve brought some if we’d asked. No big deal. I’d gladly stay again if I’m in the area.

I’ve been coming back to Casa Contelui for years and always look forward to another visit. The hosts make you feel at home right away in their beautiful house at the foot of the mountains. From the well-kept rooms, there are great views of the forest and resort, and the Romanian food is outstanding. Great place, people, and food.

The courtyard is a good spot to work if you need to, and the rooms are large, comfortable, clean, and aired out. The place feels cozy and welcoming, and the hosts are really lovely. They’re friendly and the service and communication are great. It’s on a quiet street close to everything, so it works well for groups of friends. Best place to stay in Rasnov.

The owners were friendly, and we liked the quiet setting, garden, and location. Everything else was fine, except one mattress, which was sunken and sometimes let you feel the wood underneath while trying to sleep.
