Rem's Pension

We first came for a conference in Rasnov, then returned with friends. It’s a quiet spot, with clean, comfortable and private rooms. There are stairs and no elevator, though you can request a room on a lower floor if that’s an issue. We really liked the fresh local food, from soups and stews with polenta to steaks, salads and homemade desserts, and the service was quick and good. The garden is lovely for relaxing, and there are covered tables where you can work for a while if needed. A really nice stay.

The view from my room is beautiful, and the room itself, called NUKE room, has a king-size bed, warm blanket and comfortable pillows. There’s a separate bathroom with hot water around the clock. I’m Diana from Ukraine, and I came to Rasnov, Romania after fleeing the war. I’ve now been here for two months. Daniela Bonta, the hotel owner, and Ioanna, the manager, have made us feel like family. We share meals, have barbecues and watch movies together. Rem’s opened its resort and its heart to Ukrainians looking for somewhere to stay, and we’ll always be grateful to the team for that. It feels like a lovely vacation, though I’m here because of the war. I’ve traveled to many places and countries for work, but this one feels especially comfortable and homey. I’d recommend it to mountain and fresh-air lovers, families and solo travelers alike. Rem's is now one of my favorite places, and when the war is over, I’ll definitely come back as a tourist.

The host made us feel very welcome, and the rooms are lovely. It’s close to the Dino Park, Rasnov Citadel and Bran, so it’s definitely worth a stay.

We found this guest house charming, with a lovely host. It’s also perfectly located for visiting Peleş and Bran Castle.
