We had a wonderful stay with our group, and the host was exceptionally kind. He even came along on a mountain hike to a sheepfold, where the scenery was breathtaking. The guesthouse sits among pine trees, with a stream running right in front, and has a lovely gazebo with a big table, a large grill, and a kitchen stocked with everything from cutlery and plates in different sizes to bowls, soup pots, a kettle, and ladles. The towels are good quality, and the bed linen was very clean and looked freshly laundered and ironed. The room and bathroom were spotless. I’ve stayed in 4-star hotels with hair and dirt in the shower, so I noticed the difference. The fixed windows could use a more thorough clean on the outside, but that’s a small thing. The mattresses and pillows aren’t at 4-star level, which is understandable for a 3-star guesthouse, and the price is very good for what you get. If you want more comfort, a 4-star hotel will cost three times as much.

This place is in a valley among fir trees, but it’s old and needs some investment. It may not suit anyone fussy. The shower door was broken, and water spilled across the bathroom. Hot water was a matter of getting to it first, and by evening it wasn’t hot anymore, so I had to shower during the day. The mattresses had lots of dips, too. For me, it wasn’t worth paying 180-200 lei per night.

The hosts are incredibly welcoming and make sure you have what you need, sometimes going out of their way to help you feel at home. The place brings together a simple cabin feel, traditional mountain hospitality, and peasant decor with a few understated, unconventional touches. You can breathe fresh mountain air and enjoy a wild, traditional atmosphere, while the nearby spring makes a soft, rain-like sound. The guesthouse doesn’t boast; it speaks for itself. We’ll definitely return. It’s a place where lovely memories take shape, and where you can feel renewed if you’re carrying worries or worn down by city noise.

Such a peaceful spot, away from the crowds, with clean, cool air and a really quiet setting. The rooms have a classic style, but they’re clean and comfortable. The staff are kind and friendly. It felt like an oasis for relaxing.

With a fabulous view and a clean, welcoming atmosphere, this place had everything we needed for a lovely vacation. The host was very welcoming and kept checking that guests had what they needed.
